JILL SINGER

Jill has been working as a psychotherapist in private practice in London and Sussex since 1980. Prior to this she taught for Sussex University's Centre for Continuing Education, taught and ran therapy groups at Lewes Prison, and counselled for the Open University. She was initially trained as a psychotherapist at Brighton University, the Institute of Psychotherapy and Social Studies and the Institute for Group Analysis. This was followed by further training in Gestalt, Psychosynthesis, Bodywork, Visual Art, Sandplay, Drama, Family Therapy and Archetypal Psychology. In 1989 she trained as a Hypnotherapist in California and in 1992 in London. Her work contains a spiritual dimension. Jill is a supervisor for trainee therapists and guest lecturer for training courses in England and America. She works extensively in Organisational and Family Mediation, Team Building and Diversity Training. Jill has completed her first book and is engaged on writing her PhD thesis. She is a member of the British Association for Counselling, the International Therapists Exam Council, the Corporation of Advanced Hypnotherapists and the American Council of Hypnotists' Examiners.
